Cure
Pulpdent Opaquer is a visible
light cure resin specially formulated to mask out metal
and discolored tooth structure. It is available in tooth
shade and near white shade. Pulpdent Opaquer is essentially
the same chemistry as dental composite resins, and it
chemically bonds to dental adhesives, bonding agents,
composite resins and resin cements.
Directions for Use
- Etch
tooth surface. Sandblast metal surface with a micro-etcher,
or lightly abrade with a fine diamond bur.
- Adhesively
prepare the metal and/or tooth surface using DenTASTIC
or your preferred adhesive primer.
- Dispense
a small amount of Opaquer from the syringe on a pad
or in a mixing well. Using a brush, apply a thin coat
to the adhesively prepared surface.
- Light
cure for 20 seconds.
- Rinse
canal thoroughly.
- Place
your preferred resin restorative material directly
over the Opaquer. Following
the manufacturer’s instructions for use. The Opaquer
is compatible with both self-cure and light cure composites.
