That's right, Desensitize While You Temporize! After taking impressions, you wait 2 weeks for the lab to fabricate the restoration. Use this valuable time to desensitize the dentin. Sclerotic and reparative dentin are nature's desensitizers. Pulpdent Cavity Liner, with 3-Way Protection, stimulates sclerotic and reparative dentin formation, and much more.

Pulpdent Cavity Liner Offers
3-Way Protection:

Biological Protection: Pulpdent Cavity Liner desensitizes the dentin by stimulating the formation of sclerotic and reparative dentin and by increasing the density of the dentin as much as 25% in 15 days.
(Finn, S.B.: Clinical Pedodontics, 4th Ed.,W.B. Saunders Co., 208-211, 235-238, 1973.)

Chemical Protection: pH > 12. Desensitizes the dentin by neutralizing acids and other irritants found in dental etching gels, adhesives and restoratives.

Physical Protection: Desensitizes the dentin by filling the dentinal tubules with calcium hydroxide and creating an ultra-thin physical barrier that will not interfere with the seating of crowns and inlays.

Compatible with Bonding Materials
Place Pulpdent Cavity Liner on the pulpal floor before applying etching gels and dentin bonding materials. This protects the pulp from the acids and other irritants in dental etch gels and restoratives, and leaves the remaining dentin available for dentin bonding.

Conventional Restorations:
Place under all amalgam or conventional restorative materials for Pulpdent Cavity Liner's unique 3-Way Protection described above.
