Isolate treatment area and prepare cavity conservatively.
If desired, apply your preferred base/liner
in the deepest part of the cavity only.
- Apply
Etch-All
10% phosphoric acid gel first to enamel and then to
dentin 30 seconds while agitating gently. If using
Etch-Rite
38% phosphoric acid gel, apply for only 15 seconds.
Rinse with copious amounts of water. Remove excess
water from surface, ( a cotton roll may be used to
remove water), but DO NOT DRY DENTIN.
NOTE:
DenTASTIC Adhesive Primer is hydrophilic and is designed
to work best in the moist dentin environment.

Mix equal amounts of DenTASTIC Adhesive Primer
Parts A and B and immediately apply three consecutive
coats to the dentin and enamel surface waiting 3-5
seconds between coats. Do not dry between
coats. After the last coat, dry the surface
for 2-3 seconds with a gentle stream of clean, uncontaminated
air. The surface should appear glossy; if not, apply
additional coats. Light curing this layer is optional.
- Begin
trituration of amalgam.
- Mix
equal amounts of ResiLute
Parts 1 and 2 for 15 seconds and apply a thin layer
on the glossy adhesive cavity surface. DO
NOT CURE THIS LAYER. Immediately condense
the amalgam over the resin cement allowing excess
cement to extrude from under the amalgam. Immediately
remove excess resin cement before it sets while carving
the amalgam to contour.
