Note:
Remove air-inhibited layer from self-cure bracket adhesives
before applying Ortho-Coat. (It is not necessary to remove
air-inhibited layer from light cure bracket adhesives.)
Ortho-Coat cures with all lights. Curing time for a halogen
light with a minimum of 300 mW/cm2 is 20 seconds. More
powerful lights will cure faster.
For use with light cure bracket adhesives:

If Ortho-Coat is applied immediately after initial placement of the bracket, simply apply Ortho-Coat around the bracket and enamel margin and light cure for 20 seconds.
oil-free prophy paste. Rinse and dry thoroughly.

If Ortho-Coat is applied at a follow-up visit, clean
bracket, bracket adhesive surface and enamel margin,
etch these surfaces for 15 seconds, rinse and lightly
dry. Apply Ortho-Coat over the bracket and enamel
margin and light cure for 20 seconds.
For use with self-cure bracket adhesives:
- Allow
bracket adhesive to completely self-cure.

If Ortho-Coat is applied immediately after initial
placement of the bracket, remove air-inhibited layer
from the bracket adhesive surface with a dry cotton
pellet or cotton pellet dipped in alcohol, apply Ortho-Coat
over the bracket and enamel margin and light cure
for 20 seconds.

If Ortho-Coat is applied at a follow-up visit, clean
bracket, bracket adhesive surface and enamel margin,
etch these surfaces for 15 seconds, rinse and lightly
dry. Apply Ortho-Coat over the bracket and enamel
margin and light cure for 20 seconds.
Caution:
Uncured material may cause eye or skin irritation on contact. Dental professionals should wear safety glasses and surgical gloves.
Ortho-Coat should dispense easily from the syringe. Apply gentle pressure only to the syringe plunger. Change applicator tips between patients.
Storage and Handling:
- Store tightly sealed in original container at cool
room temperature. Avoid direct light, extremes of
temperature, contamination and sources of ignition.
- Shelf life of unopened product: 2 years from date
of manufacture.
