PerioCare
is a two
paste, highly elastic periodontal dressing which sets resiliently
hard and does not chip or fall apart in the mouth. It assists
in tissue placement after periodontal surgery and provides
durable protection of tissue.
It is
particularly notable that PerioCare
does not
support the growth of bacteria. When removing PerioCare from
the surgical site, the practitioner finds that the site is
clean and that PerioCare comes off neatly in large pieces.
After
mixing, PerioCare is ready to pick up with wet fingers in
about 75-90 seconds. It has a 7 minute working time and sets
in 15 minutes. It is patient pleasing, and has a neutral odor
and taste.
PerioCare
contains no eugenol or asbestos.
