Kool-Dam

Clinical Procedure

There are many uses for Kool-Dam light cure liquid dam and block-out resin.


1. Kool-Dam (blue) is placed on the gingiva before etching this fractured corwn with Pulpdent Porcelain Etch Gel (yellow).	2. Kool-Dam is used to hold a clear matrix in place.

3. Kool-Dam is placed on the gingiva to protect the soft tissue prior to a bleaching procedure.	4. The case shown in the previous photo is now ready for insertion of the bleaching tray.

5. When fabricating a custom tray for bleaching, Kool-Dam is placed on the model to create a reservoir for the bleaching material.
