PULPDENT Corporation, a family-owned dental research and manufacturing company, is pleased to welcome Leah Rae Berk in the position of Media and Communications Manager. The granddaughter of PULPDENT founder Harold Berk, Leah will oversee the organization’s growing social media presence, including the Pulpdent’s new blog and its Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube pages.
With experience in healthcare, marketing and analytics, Leah is adept at identifying the business needs of clinicians and their patients. Leah combines data analysis, storytelling and digital media to engage customers, evaluate operations and uncover new opportunities. She feels that companies like PULPDENT have an important role to play in promoting public health efforts in the US and abroad. Before joining Pulpdent Leah was a Business Analyst for the Massachusetts General Hospital Practice Improvement Division.
“I am proud to continue my grandfather’s legacy of saving teeth,” says Leah. “Our new social media channels give us the opportunity to be active listeners and infuse the voice of the customer into everything we do here at PULPDENT.”
Leah holds an MBA with a concentration in Finance and Business Analytics from the Simmons School of Management and a BA in Comparative Literature from Brown University. She lives outside of Boston, MA with her husband Daniel and daughter Eva.
